Blood-Curdling Gameplay Trailer Released for Psychological Horror Game ‘Dark Atlas: Infernum’ [Watch]
While it sadly won’t arriving until next year, Night Council Studio has released a new trailer during The Horror Game Awards for fans of their upcoming first-person psychological horror game Dark Atlas: Infernum. The new trailer focuses on gameplay from the perspective of protagonist Natalia Asensio, as well as offering a look at the game’s environments.
Coming to PC via Steam, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, Dark Atlas: Infernum sees you step into the shoes of the aforementioned Natalia Asensio, Grand Master of an ancient esoteric order. As society collapses and dimensional barriers shatter, supernatural forces are unleashed into the world, leaving you trapped in a dark, dust-filled basement. Drugged and with only fragmented memories of your identity, Natalia must navigate a world teetering on the brink of hell itself. Haunting voices plague your mind, twisting your thoughts and commanding you to follow their cryptic orders. Every choice you make could either protect your fractured mind or doom you to eternal suffering.
The horrors that await you in Dark Atlas: Infernum aren’t just the terrifying creatures lurking in the shadows, but the psychological and emotional toll that comes with battling a collapsing world and an uncertain identity. As Natalia, your greatest enemy is the darkness that seeks to tear apart both your mind and reality. You must confront the unknown forces in the world and within yourself to stop the apocalypse—and, in doing so, determine if there’s anything left worth saving.
If you’re keen on checking out the game ahead of its release next year, the demo that’s up on Steam is still available.
