Outfits Inspired by Junji Ito’s Creations Have Arrived in ‘Dead by Daylight’ [Trailer]

After teasing fans back in November, Behaviour Interactive has unleashed their latest collaboration for Dead by Daylight, this time with acclaimed horror Manga artist Junji Ito! Available now, the Junji Ito Collection honors his catalog with eight outfits inspired by some of his most memorable characters. The Collection aims to offer long-time admirers a fresh way to experience Ito’s creations, while introducing an entirely new audience to his work.

From a human marionette puppeted through the world on strings, to a man able to produce and spit nails from his mouth, Ito’s characters range from the unsettling to the unthinkable. A perfect fit to join the rest of the tortured souls lost in The Fog.

“This time, I had the opportunity to experience playing Dead by Daylight. The characters I created become killers and do some very horrible things in the game”, says Mr. Ito. “It was very moving to see that they had become even more terrifying characters after leaving my hands.”

The Junji Ito Collection contains the following outfits:

  • Miss Fuchi – Legendary Outfit for The Artist, taken from the stories “Rumors” and “Fashion Model”
  • Tomie – Legendary Outfit for The Spirit, taken from the story “Tomie”
  • Hikizuris’ Dark Past – Very Rare Outfit for The Twins, inspired by “The Bizarre Hikizuri Siblings: The Séance”
  • Soichi’s Pary Clothes – Very Rare Outfit for The Trickster, inspired by the character Soichi Tsujii from multiple stories
  • Half Spirits’ Torments – Ultra Rare Outfit for The Dredge, inspired by “Story of the Mysterious Tunnel”
  • Tsukiko’s Uniform – Very Rare Outfit for Yui Kimura, inspired by the story “Tomie”
  • Terumi’s Fame – Very Rare Outfit for Yun-Jin Lee, inspired by the story “The Hanging Balloons”
  • Puppet’s Troubled Ballet – Very Rare Outfit for Kate Denson, inspired by the story “Marionette Mansion”

The Junji Ito Collection is available in Dead by Daylight on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. Meanwhile, fans of the original Junji Ito Collection stories can find the episodes available to stream on Crunchyroll.

Moon Studios dropped a new trailer during the Sony State of Play for their dark action-RPG No Rest for the Wicked, while also hinting at the long-awaited launch window for the full 1.0 release. The game, which has been in Early Access on Steam since April 2024, will be launching this October in full for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, while versions for the  Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 will arrive at a later date.

As a token of appreciation for supporters new and old, Moon Studios is offering an exclusive Early Access Founder’s Pack, a free limited edition bundle available for anyone who purchases the game on Steam prior to July 10, with rewards unlocking when 1.0 officially launches. PlayStation 5 users can receive the Early Access Founder’s Pack by pre-ordering the game once available, any time before launch day.

The Founder’s Pack includes:

  • A New Secret Hideout: Spirit Cavern – The legacy of Moon Studios now lives inside No Rest for the Wicked, exclusively for Founders. A hand-crafted home that bridges both worlds.
  • Sayer’s Vow: An all new Sword in the stone reserved just for the founders that only early adopters can extract in the game world.
  • A Custom Founders Tag ensures players are clearly identified as early adopters.
  • As a Founder member, players will get access to an exclusive Public Beta Test Realm reserved just for them, even after the 1.0 game launch.

As for the full 1.0 release, it will be a massive expansion of the core experience, introducing a staggering 60+ hours of new content, a new horde mode, powerful new weapons, bosses and enemies, new areas and a completely reimagined class system.

In No Rest for the Wicked, players take on the role of a “Cerim,” a member of a holy order imbued with mysterious powers, tasked with destroying the Pestilence, an ancient plague that has begun to consume the island Isola Sacra, itself already the site of great political upheaval and death.
