Nightdive Delves Into Making ‘Blood: Refreshed Supply’ in New “Deep Dive” Episode [Watch]

Ahead of its December 4 launch, Nightdive’s Blood: Refreshed Supply has received an episode of the developer’s Deep Dive podcast, which welcomes the creators of the new Marrow and Death Wish episodes of the upcoming remaster, Dustin Twilley and Nick Palsmeier.

The episode sees the two developers talk about their experience creating the new expansions for the cult FPS, as well as delving into Nightdive Studios’ work remastering Blood for a second time for PC and, for the first time, consoles. The episode also includes additional behind-the-scenes information on how the team expanded the game while preserving its signature over-the-top carnage and sneering attitude that made it a fan favorite.

Blood: Refreshed Supply is Nightdive Studios remaster of the 2019 original Blood: Fresh Supply. This new remaster features additional technical enhancements for modern platforms, including up to 4K resolution at unlocked frame rates, local split-screen and online co-op for up to 8 players, a Vault with behind-the-scenes content from the development of Blood, and more. As well as including the original Blood campaign and the Plasma Pak and Cryptic Passage add-ons, Blood: Refreshed Supply features two new mission scenarios: Marrow (available at launch) and Death Wish (releasing post-launch).

Pre-orders for Blood: Refreshed Supply are now live (with a 20% discount) for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One and Series, and the Nintendo Switch for $29.99. A Nintendo Switch 2 version will launch in early 2026. Existing owners of Blood: Fresh Supply will receive a 66.6% pre-order loyalty discount to upgrade.
