Nightdive Reveals Long-Awaited Remaster of Cyberpunk FPS ‘SiN: Reloaded’, Coming This Year [Trailer]
Way back in 2020, Nightdive Studio and 3D Realms had announced that they were working on a remaster of Ritual Entertainment’s SiN. And after six years, they’ve finally pulled back the curtain on SiN: Reloaded, which is coming later this year to PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One and the Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 1|2.
As one would expect from Nightdive, this long-awaited remaster of the 1998 cult classic FPS boasts enhanced remastered visuals, modernized control schemes, and includes the Wages of SiN extra mission pack. In addition, players can swap between remastered visuals and the original SiN Gold version, experience the higher-resolution score mixed/engineered by Chris Mock, and dive into a vault filled with exclusive, behind-the-scenes material.
Set in a near-future dystopian world, SiN: Reloaded puts you in control of security consultant Colonel John R. Blade as you take on the seductively evil Doctor Elexis Sinclaire. When Elexis, CEO of SinTEK Industries, begins injecting the streets with a DNA-altering drug, it’s time to reassess the laws of morality by facing off against Elexis’ unholy army of genetically-engineered mutants.
SiN:Reloaded wasn’t the only news Nightdive had in store, as they also debuted a new trailer for the upcoming Death Wish expansion for last year’s Blood: Refreshed Supply. Releasing as a free game update later this month, Death Wish features four episodes featuring all-new content exclusive to Blood: Refreshed Supply and acts as a sequel to the game’s events.
Death Wish — with four episodes, totaling 48 levels — begins years in the future after the events of Blood expansions Cryptic Passage, Post Mortem, and Marrow, where the specter of Tchernobog still looms after his defeat, having regained strength as protagonist Caleb fought other battles. When his growing power can no longer be veiled, Tchernobog’s forces face off against his foe as the moment of the Dreaming God’s ascension draws near. All maps have been upgraded from their previous mod versions, while the entirety of episode 4 and other levels are entirely new. All maps are co-op compatible and feature custom music from Noelle Amelie Aman (Speedy) and Sjellos (Silentsphere Studios).
Blood: Refreshed Supply is available now on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One and Series, and the Nintendo Switch. A Nintendo Switch 2 version will launch later this year.
