Crush Everything in Your Path in Third-Person Kaiju Game ‘BeastLink’ [Trailer]

Incognito Entertainment’s War of the Monsters is one of those titles you wish that more developers would expand upon and create some Kaiju mayhem for the current generation. Luckily, Grove Street Games is looking to do just that with their newly-revealed PvP title, BeastLink.

Coming to Early Access on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series this summer, you can actually get a chance to monster mash with your friends in the game’s closed beta weekend on Steam starting this Friday, May 8.

The story for BeastLink sees the world in ruins, with humanity living in shattered strongholds, and colossal creatures ruling what’s left. Humanity’s survival depends on the very technology that ended everything. You must fight your way through war-torn urban cities, amass the coveted serum, and use it to Link with the dormant Kaiju to unleash the ultimate weapon. Ultimately, you must uncover the truth behind the world-ending outbreak, and the cost of keeping humanity alive.

Play as both human and the colossal creatures across multiple game modes, either solo or with other players. You’ll be able to deploy vehicles like cars, helicopters, tanks and aircrafts to unleash chaos. Thanks to the game’s proprietary “SuperDestruction” destruction system, everything can be destroyed.

Upon launching into Early Access, you’ll have access to three maps and four different Kaiju, each with their own abilities: the Horned Lizard, the Bull Shark, the Vampire Bat, and the Mandrill. BeastLink will support up to 32 players and multiple active Beasts across huge maps, designed for delivering the chaotic gameplay that you’d expect from levelling a city.
