Experience First-Person Cosmic Survival Horror Title ‘INURE’ Now With The New Demo [Trailer]

Solo developer Anas Sammak of KoolKat is tapping into cosmic survival horror with their upcoming title, INURE. And now you’ve got a chance to check it out for yourself, thanks to the new demo available on Steam. The approximately one-hour demo combines exploration and combat with the usual survival horror tropes such as scarce ammunition and limited inventory space, as well as consumable crafting and physics-driven interaction. Players can lift and move objects, physically open doors and manipulate the environment while searching for a way through the Dreamlands.

INURE is built around tactile world interaction, limited resources, and a descent into a reality that should not exist. The game follows Detective Marc Whitecloud, who is investigating the unexplained disappearance of 28 people, when an unexpected lead pulls him into the Dreamlands–a hostile, dreamlike space where the rules of reality no longer hold. Whitecloud must search for clues and push deeper into a world that can be breathtaking one moment and deeply wrong the next.

You’ll interact with the environment through a physics-driven system that makes the world feel tangible. Lift, drag, inspect, and manipulate objects by hand. Ease doors open, move obstacles, and use nearby objects to interrupt threats, buy space, and stay in control of the fight.

Your inventory space is limited, so every item matters. Keep your inventory under control, ration healing and supplies, and craft useful consumables from the resources you find. You’ll need those weapons and ammunition to defend yourself, but survival is never guaranteed by firepower alone. Every shot matters, and not every threat is meant to be faced head-on.
