Promo for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Watch the Throne” follow up or the first teaser to A&E’s The Omen series? You decide…

A&E gives us our first look at “Damien,” a direct sequel to the 1976 The Omen that follows Damien Thorn (played by Bradley James) as an adult dealing with his dark past. The trailer flashes a mysterious look at the title character, along with his watchdog that has shaded of The Exorcist. For a teaser, it’s pretty rad.

The ten-episode ‘Damien’ follows the adult life of Damien Thorn (James), the mysterious child from the 1976 film who has grown up, seemingly unaware of the satanic forces around him. Haunted by his past, Damien must now come to terms with his true destiny — that he is the Antichrist, the most feared man throughout the ages.

“Damien” is being written and executively produced by Glen Mazzara (“The Walking Dead”).

Pilou Asbæk in Run Sweetheart Run

Wyatt Russell‘s Colonel Lee Shaw is getting his ownMonarch: Legacy of Monstersspinoff series, and Pilou Asbæk (Salem’s Lot, I.S.S.) and Millie Brady (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies) have joined the cast.

What’s more is that Sweetheart filmmaker J.D. Dillard has been set to direct the pilot episode.

Obi-Wan Kenobishowrunner andMonarchexecutive producer Joby Harold will serve as showrunner on the as-yet-untitled spinoff.

The series will follow Colonel Lee Shaw, an American operative who in 1984 went on a secret mission behind enemy lines in an attempt to stop the Soviets from unleashing a horrific new Titan big enough to destroy the U.S. and turn the tide of the Cold War.

Details beyond that remain scarce, including what characters Asbaek and Brady will place. The Cold War setting suggests a very different direction and tone from the spinoff’s parent series, though.

The series will reunite Pilous Asbæk with his Overlord co-star, Wyatt Russell.

Expect the Legendary’s MonsterVerse to continue to grow; Harold has also signed an overall deal with Legendary to oversee the Monsterverse franchise for Apple TV, featuring both new and fan-favorite Titans.

Producers on the upcoming spinoff include Kei Banno, Brian Rogers, and Kenji Okuhira. Russell and Harold will executive produce alongside Tory Tunnell, Chris Black, Kyle Bradstreet, Alex Boden, Max Borenstein, Andy Goddard, Hiro Matsuoka, and Takemasa Arita.
