Ash is joined by a groovy cast.

Check out this awesome new featurette for Starz’s “Ash vs Evil Dead” that begins with a look at everyone’s favorite antihero, Ash (Bruce Campbell), and then turns its attention to his Value Stop co-workers Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Kelly (Dana Delorenzo), as well as Lucy Lawless as Ruby, a mysterious figure who believes Ash is the cause of the Evil outbreaks.

ICYMI, we also have a series of 30 screen-grabs from the first “Ash vs Evil Dead” trailer that debuted at the Comic-Con to go along with a brand new HD version of the trailer here.

In the 10-episode “Ash vs Evil Dead” series premiering Saturday, October 31st at 9:00pm ET/PT exclusively on STARZ, “Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.

A24’s Friday the 13th prequel series “Crystal Lake” is coming to Peacock here in the United States this October, but in an interesting twist, it’s coming to HBO Max outside the U.S.

The Hollywood Reporter lets us know that Warner Bros. Discovery has picked up “Crystal Lake” for HBO Max in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, excluding the U.K. and Ireland.

“The series is set to debut on HBO Max across the region later this year,” THR notes.

Here in the United States, “Crystal Lake” slashes into Peacock on October 15. We know that ALL EIGHT EPISODES of “Crystal Lake” will release at the same time on that date.

Each episode has a runtime of 60 minutes.

The series follows single mother Pam Voorhees who has been unable to shake her grief after her young, sickly son Jason tragically drowned in the town lake almost a year before. When two strangers arrive at Pam’s door digging into her past, a disturbing chain of events is set into motion, leaving the townspeople of Crystal Lake wondering: just who is Pam Voorhees?

Linda Cardellini stars as Pamela Voorhees, a mother who gave up a singing career to raise her special needs child, only to take a dark turn when she loses her son — Jason.

Callum Vinson (“Chucky”) is playing young Jason in “Crystal Lake,” which will tell the origin story of the masked slasher who has stalked the grounds of Crystal Lake for decades.

Brad Caleb Kane (“IT: Welcome to Derry”) is the showrunner for the series.

The eight-episode series “Crystal Lake” is directed by Michael Lennox (“Derry Girls”), Celine Held & Logan George (Caddo Lake), and Quyen Tran (“The Pitt”).
