We told you just yesterday that the fourth installment in the Insidious franchise had been titled Insidious: The Last Key, and we also promised that the official trailer was coming soon. Well wait no more, as we’re kicking off the week with your first look at the new installment!
Loads of nightmare imagery is found in the trailer for Insidious: The Last Key, which doesn’t surprise us given it was directed by the man who brought us The Taking of Deborah Logan, franchise newcomer Adam Robitel. The 2014 film showed us that Robitel knows how to make a deeply terrifying movie, so we cannot wait for this one.

The film is written by co-creator Leigh Whannell (Saw), who wrote the trilogy and directed Chapter 3. Insidious regulars Jason Blum (The Purge series, Get Out), Oren Peli (Paranormal Activity) and co-creator James Wan (The Conjuring, Furious 7) produced.
Insidious: The Last Key returns to The Further on January 5, 2018.
