Many Marvel fans are none too happy about the fact that this October’s Venom will not feature Spider-Man, as the Sony film is not actually set within Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. Personally speaking, I feel that Venom is interesting enough on his own, but I can understand why many are bummed that this iteration will likely never do battle with Spider-Man.
(I’m more concerned about the potential PG-13 rating, but that’s another story.)
Since Tom Hardy’s Venom will be kept separated from his web-slinging adversary, Stryder HD has taken it upon himself to whip up one of his patented fan trailers to imagine a world wherein Venom 2018 clashes up on the big screen with Spider-Man. Rather than using Tom Holland’s version, however, he mashes together Venom and Andrew Garfield’s Spidey.
