While I didn’t hate Bird Box, it’s not a very good movie. It’s a little perplexing to me how many of my friends think it’s better than A Quiet Place. There are some truths in this worth and one is that they’re wrong, even if you enjoy both.
I love this new Honest Trailers that echoes the sentiments in my review: Sandra Bullock is phenomenal and the sequences that take place in the post-apocalyptic present are great, but everything else plays like the mummified remains of a way better George A. Romero zombie film.
As usual, the “Honest Trailer” plunges deep into comedy and kills me with the comparison to God of War‘s Atreus and even “Oregon Trail”. Watch…
