Once again, if you’re bummed out with Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 being delayed, fans have picked up the slack. And in the case of the upcoming Vampire the Masquerade – Chapters, they’ve gone full circle.
Chapters is a story driven and tactical board game taking place in the World of Darkness. Unlike the traditional Vampire: The Masquerade games originally from White Wolf, Chapters “[combines] the freedom of a tabletop role-playing game and the tactical combat of a strategy cooperative board game.” The game also includes highly detailed miniatures.
The game, which is scheduled to launch on Kickstarter in February 2020, takes place in Montreal, after the appearance of the Second Inquisition and the fall of Sabbat. Chapters allows for solo play, or up to 4 players. You can actually play the first prologue for free here.
