Sony Announces ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’ SE Release

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced a new special edition of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, which stars Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, Anthony Hopkins, and Keanu Reeves for release on October 2. The two-disc special edition will include a newly remastered anamorphic widescreen presentation, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include a video introduction by Francis Ford Coppola, an audio commentary by Coppola, a documentary, deleted scenes, the trailer, and more. ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’ Getting McFarlanized!

Finally some sweet news over at the McFarlane Camp, “McFarlane Toys has announced its acquisition of the action figure rights to the 1992 horror film Bram Stoker’s Dracula,” according to Figures.com. ‘Dracula’ was directed by Francis Ford Coppala and won three Academy Awards in 1993, including best costumes and best makeup. This is the first action figure license to ever be granted by Sony Consumer Products for the film. The film starred Gary Oldman, Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder and Anthony Hopkins. “The line-up of figures has yet to be announced, but fans can expect them to hit shelves in late 2005.” (more…) READ MORE
