Really solid filmmaking. Supposedly inspired Hitchcock’s Psycho, and you can see why. Worth a viewing for sure, unless your not the subtitle type!

Kudos to the BD official review – probably one of the better ones I’ve seen here as one can tell the author has a bit more polish to his film history instead of merely being a fan boy.

As for the movie itself, what else is there to say? It’s a marvelously creepy flick with fantastical overtones which remind me of I Bury the Living. A true classic not to be missed.

Not a horror movie. More of a suspense flick in the realm of Hitchcock. Slow paced as typical of the era. Gotta admit I did not see the twist coming at the end. Nicely done.
