FrightFest ’10: New Images, Cover Art for ‘Dead Cert’

Published

on

The second feature from British director Steve Lawson, the vampires-meet-gangsters horror romp Dead Cert marks a welcome return to a fun, almost traditional British horror filmmaking style that affectionately evokes the spirit of the contemporary-set movies of Amicus and Hammer – particularly the latter’s Dracula A.D. 1972 and The Satanic Rites Of Dracula. After premiering at London Film4 FrightFest (August 26-30), Dead Cert will be released on DVD in UK by Momentum Pictures on September 27. Check out the cover art and new images inside.
A Gang of tough London Hoods get more than they bargained for when a Group of Eastern European Businessmen make an offer to buy their Club, the Paradise. Refusing to take no for an answer mayhem ensues as the `Businessmen’ turn out to be nothing less than a group of Vampires hell-bent on reclaiming what they consider to be `their’ property. Gangsters and Vampires battle it out for the ultimate prize…
