We’ve reviewed most of this year’s Screamfest selections, but BC was able to catch a few here and there that have yet to be seen. Two films he enjoyed quite a bit were Justin Steele’s Death & Cremation, which he calls “a (darkly) comic tale of a master teaching the student, like Karate Kid, but also of a murderer who you side with,” along with the Aussie thriller The Clinic, which he claims “gives the sub-genre a breath of fresh air, thanks to a unique scenario, a decent twist, and way above average technical and acting qualities.” You can read both reviews by clicking the titles above. Watch for US distribution news as it comes in. Show some love, go bookmark BC’s Horrormovieaday.
