First Details on Lionsgate’s ‘Dibbuk Box’

While Lionsgate has been tip-toeing around the plot line for Dibbuk Box, Bloody Disgusting was able to get the inside scoop on what will happen in the Ole Bornedal-directed horror that’s 100% based on a true story. As it was dictated to me, the film will follow Clyde Breneck and his 10-year-old daughter, Em, who purchases an antique box at a yard sale (while the real-life story it took place on Ebay). With the box, Em accidentally releases an ancient spirit that has one goal: to devour her. Clyde must team work with his ex-wife to put an end to the curse. Penned by Juliet Snowden & Stiles White, Lionsgate is aiming to get this in theaters by October 28, 2011.
