Talking about overkill! Games, movies, books, comics and now eb series! Oh RE how mighty you have fallen.

  • DeadManZombieFan

Yesssss. I hope it’s good. I did see some actual gore in there. 😀
    jill looks okay.
    bloated face chris egh.
    leon looks like a nerd.
I hope that was hunk in the black outfit.
overall I can get behind this.
    bring on the nemesis!!!

This series looks like it will be ok at most. Jill is not a blonde, that leon is not really muscular enough and that other guy is supposed to be Chris Redfield? Wow, Im not going to bad mouth someone else’s work because I would’nt want to be disrespected myself or anything bad but I would work harder on this series. Just saying from a writers stand point. I hope the zombies look real and scary as hell!

Yawn. At least it has zombie carnage 😛 but the characters don’t even look that good. IDk I’ll watch it any RE is good RE but nothing beats the games. even the books were sick.

To be honest, it looks pretty shitty. Leon looks like a doofus. I love anything RE related (except those god awful abortions that they call “movies” starring Milla Jonananananivich) This looks pretty crappy, but I’ll probably watch a bit of it and give a fair chance… Can we please get a hold of that Paul Anderson director and force him to stop producing these abominations? They are ruining the good name that was Resident Evil… Seriously, who the fuck is Alice and why do we care? Why is it more of an over the top action movie with slow motion bullshit stunts like flipping through the air or running down the sides of buildings, or smashing through windows on motorcycles and all that kind of garbage that might be fun in an ACTION movie, but Resident Evil is supposed to be about atmosphere, zombies, being scared and trying to survive!

How hard is it to get Leon right? Jesus Christ, it’s not that hard to find a guy that looks like him! I haven’t seen one adaptation where they get the actor right for Leon. At least the guy playing Chris looks more like him than in the “official” movies. And why is Jill blonde? She was not blonde in the first Resident Evil game. Sorry for my complaining, but damn lol. Still, I’ll give this a chance.

I hate to say it, but I agree. I love what they’re trying to do, and they may very well surprise when it ends up being amazing, but the one thing I’m not sold on after seeing that trailer is the characters. I think they may have missed the mark with all three of them, but hey, it might be great, and if it is I’ll eat my words. I’ll eat ’em up with some fava beans and a nice chiante at a table for two and ThunderDragoon’s invited.

Well, in MrDisgusting’s first sentence he says “fan-made Resident Evil web series”. So if you’re expecting anything more you forgot to take your med’s.

I agree that we shouldn’t have crazy lofty expectations for the series, but being fan-made doesn’t mean it can’t be amazing. There have been many incredible fan-made films and web series that could easily be mistaken for something “official”, despite not having the budget or manpower that comes with being an official production.

But thanks for reminding me about my meds. I always forget to take those…
