To promote the release of Dead Space 3 in Europe (it launches on Feb 8th), the Dernier Bar Avant la Fin du Monde in Paris has partnered with Electronic Arts and Geek-Art to host an art exhibit that’s all about Dead Space. This is so much more than an advertisement for the game; it’s a celebration of one of the most artistically innovative games of this generation. Whether you love it or not, there’s no denying the impact the series has had, especially when it comes to integrating the interface (health, inventory, etc.) with the world so it’s less intrusive. I have a sample of the incredible art that’s being shown at the exhibit patiently waiting for you after the break.
Remember that awesome Dead Space/The Thing mash-up poster we covered last week? That will be there, among a myriad other works that are all equally worthy of taking up space on my wall. Thankfully, Geek-Art will be selling prints of the art on their online store after the event.
