E3 is over. It was a wild ride that brought an array of news for gamers of all shapes, sizes and K/D ratios, just as the prophecy foretold. Whatever you might be into these days, chances are it gifted you with something to get excited about. Now that the dust has finally settled, we can do as our ancestors have done for generations and spend this evening reflecting, recapping, and if you were on the show floor, recuperating.
Over 50,000 “prosumers” flocked to LA last week to soak up some gaming goodness, making it the biggest year the expo has had since it was closed to the general public in 2007. Next year’s E3 runs from June 14-16, 2016, by the way.

Doom
Bethesda might have raised the bar too high for E3 proper with their reveal of id Software’s Doom reboot. The game looks fantastic, but you certainly don’t need to take my word for it when you can see it in action here, here and here.

The Walking Dead: Michonne

Telltale made good on their promise to bring us more Walking Dead at E3, and that’s exactly what they did with the reveal of a new Michonne-centric miniseries appropriately titled The Walking Dead: Michonne.
In related news, the developer also confirmed the third season in their acclaimed episodic series will premier in 2016.
