When State Trooper Curtis Wilcox is killed under strange circumstances, many unanswered questions are left for his teenage son Ned. The State Troopers have protected a secret for many years: a Buick left at a service station by a mysterious stranger that became Curtis’ obsession. The Buick has unusual features – including the ability to suck in and consume bystanders and cough up nightmarish creatures in exchange. Ned, convinced that the car played a role in his father’s untimely death, decides to destroy it…whatever the cost may be.
Metro: Last Light really can’t come soon enough. In case you’ve been spending your days desperately searching for something, anything to help you get your post-apocalyptic, mutant-infested Moscow fix, this could be exactly what you need. The short film that was teased last week is here and it’s pretty great. Last Light doesn’t come out until next year, but I don’t mind watching this once a week to get my weekly dose of Russian horror that I can’t get from my murderous Russian roommate with the lazy eye. Also, I don’t have one of those, but if you’re a creepy Russian guy–two good eyes isn’t a deal breaker–I’m totally looking for a new roommate. Head past the break for the short film, just make sure you have some adult diapers handy for when the excess of awesome and/or terror force your bowels to explode.
