KillingFloor

You Have Three Days To Grab ‘Killing Floor,’ Its Soundtrack And All DLC For $1 (Or More)

If you haven’t played the fantastic cooperative horror game Killing Floor, I highly recommend you get on that. It’s like Left 4 Dead, only terrifying, because instead of 28 Days Later infected coming at you, there are terrifying hell-creatures. You can also play it with five friends, instead of three, and trust me, you’re going to want as much firepower as you can get on your side as possible.

If money’s an issue for you, it isn’t anymore! Rather, it isn’t an excuse you can use for not owning this game. Thanks to the Humble Bundle, you can grab Killing Floor, its soundtrack, and all eleven DLC for a dollar — or more, as you decide the price. Full list of DLC can be found after the jump.

Killing Floor Reaches 1 Million In Sales

Killing Floor has been out for somewhere around 2.5 years, and they are excited to announce they broke 1 million sales on the PC. That might not seem like a big deal, but for an independent developer such as Tripwire Interactive it’s an awesome achievement and they should be damn proud! It’s pretty much the only game my sister plays as of lately. I love the game, but I suck with mouse and keyboard, so here’s to hoping for a PSN, XBLA release!

Killing Floor’s Freak Friendly Summer Extravaganza Opens June 30th

Cooperative PC shooter Killing Floor is getting another seasonal update just in time to celebrate Summer. Why I ask, would you go out in the sun where you could so easily get cancer, or go swimming where your chances of drowning nearly double when you could instead sit inside playing video games? When indoors your chances of being raped, murdered, or catching an incurable case of herpes are cut by almost 200%! And all that info is based off an article I just read on the Internet titled Killing Floor’s Freak Friendly Summer Extravaganza Opens June 30th, so you know it’s true.

Killing Floor’s next free update, the Summer Sideshow event, will run from June 30th to July 22nd and will bring with it a brand spanking new map called the Abusement Park. This freaky funfair is infested with all sorts of creepy creatures, including the Two-Headed Girl, Bearded Lady, and the Fleshclown (incidentally, that last one is also the name of my [CENSORED]). There are also a handful of new Steampunk character skins, and if you’re able to get 10 of the 13 new achievements you’ll unlock a special Steampunk Mr. Foster. READ MORE

The Best Horror Game Of 2009, Voted By You!

Back again just like the past 2 years, and like always I want to know what YOU thought was the best horror game of 2009. Last year was a good race, and Dead Space narrowly beat out Left 4 Dead for the win. I could post a top 10 of my favorite horror games of last year, but I like it better when you guys do the work for me.

gameof2009 The Best Horror Game Of 2009, Voted By You!

And now for my wonderous disclaimer. The games on this list are that that would reflect anything horror, sci-fi, bloody and or disgusting, gory, thrillerish, creepy, aliens, ghosts, zombies, vampires, plain old really weird stuff, stuff that is outside of “normal”, there are no Mario’s in this list, no Call Of Duty’s, these are the games people cringe at. The games some people are too scared to play. The games parents don’t want their kids playing. The games that we love here on BD.

Killing Floor

At it again, friend of the DP, AfterTheAsylum found another game to slip past my radar, known as Killing Floor. Recently announced by Tripwire Interactive, they have purchased the rights to the game, which was originally a mod for Unreal Tournament. They will be using the Unreal Engine to create the Killing Floor game.
