Earlier this year, we posted about Dan Polydoris’ absolutely stupid and yet incredibly charming faux toy for John Carpenter’s The Fog. The “action figure” was for “some fog” and was hailed as being fully posable. Considering that it was basically nothing more than some Halloween cobweb material bunched together, I can see how it makes this claim.
Now, Polydoris is back and this time he’s tackling the sensation that is Netflix’s “Stranger Things“. His new “figure” is for Will Byer’s bicycle and…that’s it. No Will, no monster, no other accessories. Just the bike and the bike alone.
In an email to BD, Polydoris tells us, “Just in case you thought “The Fog Action Figure” was the stupidest thing I’ve ever made, I might’ve topped it.” He wrote on Instagram, “I’m also an idiot, so I made this stupid custom out of a dollhouse bike.”
You know what? I love Polydoris doing things like this. It’s absurd and puts a huge smile on my face. More power to him!
