Akira Yamaoka
This could the the return of the Godfather!
Many here know that I feel that Yamaoka’s musical work on the Silent Hill series began slipping after the third entry. The fourth game had some stellar tracks but there were also several that simply didn’t hit me emotionally as hard, feeling almost forced. And as the series went on that feeling only grew.
But if Yamaoka were to come back, I feel that his taking a break from the series for the past two entries may very well have rejuvenated him. And with how this game looks, there could very well be some incredible opportunities for new, unique styles that the series hasn’t felt before.
