Godsmack – 1000hp
I’m not the biggest Godsmack fan, but there’s something infectious about this track from their latest album, 1000hp. It might be the relative calm way the song starts out with the undulating riff and Sully’s calm vocals, building up to an eventual crescendo and then returning to that calm with a nice drum beat. Plus, I’m a sucker for rock songs incorporating classical instruments (in this case, a cello).
