While I may be a huge fan of horror, there are days when I want to watch something else. Maybe I’ll pop in a comedy, like Airplane. Perhaps I’ll go for an anime, like Jin-Roh. Other times, I’ll crave an action/adventure, like Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade. What I’m saying is that there are some fantastic films outside of the horror genre, ones that mean as much to me, if not more.
So what I wanted to do with this post is start a discussion about some truly great non-horror movies that have come from directors of horror greats. Ahead are a few of my personal favorites, so check those out and then let me know some of your personal choices!
