Amelie
This right here is actually one of my absolute favorite movies ever. It’s got everything I want in a movie, from fantastic characters to a gorgeous score, a wonderful story to stunning visuals. It’s everything I could want from a movie and more and I find that I come back to it over and over again, especially if I’m having a bad day.
Director Jean Pierre Jeunet is known to horror fans for Alien: Resurrection. He’s also known for the surreal adventure film The City Of Lost Children, which I feel has enough horror elements to certainly qualify. Additionally, I should add that the latter of the films I just mentioned is also in my list of greatest films. If you haven’t seen it, go forth and watch it immediately.
