What Lies Beneath Trailer
Then we have the trailer for What Lies Beneath, which doesn’t spoil the final twist in the film (spoiler: Harrison Ford is the bad guy), but does spoil the fact that he had an affair with the dead girl (before she died, of course). This is revealed about halfway through the 2-hour film and it removes a lot of its impact once it is finally revealed. What doesn’t help matters is that, while it’s an amazing movie, it’s definitely a slow burn. So if you’re sitting there for the entire first hour already knowing that Ford cheated on Pfeiffer with the dead girl, it ruins it.
