Lake Placid
Did you know that David E. Kelly, creator of such TV hits like The Practice, Boston Legal, and Ally McBeal wrote Lake Placid? If you do, it really helps explain the (sometimes obnoxious) humor that comes out of the film.That being said, Lake Placid is a fun aquatic horror film that doesn’t overstay its welcome (82 minutes including credits). Plus, Betty White is actually quite hilarious as the foul-mouthed “mother” of the crocodile.
