8. Roman Bridger (Scott Foley) – Scream 3
So Roman’s placement on this list may not be controversial. I’m pretty sure he is everyone’s least favorite Ghostface. The entire reveal was just a little convoluted, and he apparently just decided to sit our Scream 2, since he had nothing to do with Mrs. Loomis’ revenge scheme. Either way, while Roman being the illegitimate child of Maureen Prescott and film producer John Milton comes out of left field (and not in a good way), his reveal as the killer is incredibly predictable. Not only was he killed off screen (which, c’mon!), but the film was trying so hard to make us think that Patrick Dempsey’ Detective Kincaid was the killer that Roman was the only possible choice. The strength of the Scream series is that the reveals (for the most part) have always been unpredictable. This is not the case with Roman Bridger.
