2. Thanksgiving
Should Thanksgiving qualify for a spot on this list? Probably not, but even though it’s just shy of three minutes it’s a brilliant directorial effort from Roth. Completely in tune with old-school 70s slashers, the Thanksgiving trailer embodies everything that a slasher homage should be. It’s absolutely hilarious and I’m still bummed we never got a film adaptation out of it. Don’t pretend like you didn’t wince with that trampoline bit the first time you saw this trailer. I’m a guy and it made me cringe.
