5 Amazing Home Invasion Thrillers You Need to See!

Home Invasion

Wait Until Dark (1967)

Audrey Hepburn (who was nominated for an Oscar for her role) plays a blind woman who is targeted by a group of criminals (led by Alan Arkin), after she mistakenly comes into possession of a doll full of heroin. The majority of the movie plays as one big con game as the criminals pose as friend’s of Hepburn’s husband to gain her trust. Things slowly escalate to a heart-pounding climax, that features one of the greatest jump scares in cinema history. Fun Fact: Movie theater owners dimmed their lights to the legal limits during the climactic scene, and then turned them off, one by one, as each light bulb was smashed on-screen, until the audiences were in complete darkness.
