You’re Next (2013)
The most recent film on this list is also one of the best horror films to come out in the past couple of years. It’s a simple plot of a trio of masked assassins invading the home of a family during their reunion. Filled with clever dialogue, great acting (including a breakout performance from Australian Sharni Vinson) and some awesome kills (nothing beats that blender death. Future home invasion films have a lot to live up to after You’re Next. This film has set the bar pretty high.
