The Strangers (2008)
The Strangers is one of the scariest movies ever made. There is no argument about it. When James (Scott Speedman) and Kristen (Liv Tyler) go to a remote house owned by James’ parents. After a rejected proposal, they are visited by a trio of, you guessed it, strangers who proceed to stalk them. It’s one of the most realistic portrayals of a home invasion ever put on screen, and Tyler & Speedman give compelling performances. It also has one of the best trailers of the past decade.
