We all have one (or two, or ten) movies like this. There are movies that are maligned by critics and audiences alike, but that doesn’t mean you have to follow suit. You can’t help what you like or enjoy. Sure the movies may be bad, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t enjoyment to be had in them! Rather than rehash some of my “In Defense Of” posts for films like Jennifer’s Body, Sorority Row, I Know What You Did Last Summer and House of Wax, I thought I’d just touch on films that I love that can’t really be defended. The below list includes some truly terrible films that I shouldn’t love according to everyone else, but I do. Nostalgia plays a big factor in my love for some of these movies.
