Giant Squid – The Beast
The Beast is a fun little film, but it used to scare the crap out of me as a kid. Peter Benchley certainly knew how to write his aquatic monsters, didn’t he? The giant squid in the film is one pissed off mother (in a plot that pretty much rips off Jaws 3-D). It gets in some pretty good kills and is notable for being one of the biggest sea creatures put on film (let’s just leave the Megaladon from Shark Attack 3 off the list, shall we?).
