Ventriloquist Dummies of Any Sort (Dead Silence)
Really though, as goofy as Dead Silence is, it taps into the basic human fear of ventriloquist dolls (either automatonophobia or pupaphobia, depending on who’s asking). There isn’t a single doll in James Wan’s 2007 supernatural horror film that isn’t creepy.
