Jester Puppet (The Hole)
Children’s horror films are a thing of the past nowadays. The second Joe Dante entry on this list proves that studios just don’t want to chance films like this anymore (it only received a theatrical release in two cities before being dumped on DVD one month later). While The Hole is not a perfect film, it has a few great set pieces, the best of which is when young Lucas (Nathan Gamble) is attacked by a jester puppet in his basement with the titular opening.
