Curse of Chucky
I’m one of those people who loves Bride of Chucky. The campy humor isn’t as bothersome to me because the formula had grown stale by the time Child’s Play 3 rolled around in 1991, so a new perspective was refreshing. The good will garnered by Ronny Yu’s fourth installment was all but destroyed by the atrocious Seed of Chucky, so thank God creator Don Mancini corrected his mistake with Curse of Chucky, arguably one of the best installments of the franchise. Set mostly in one location (a gorgeous mansion), the film makes the most of its limited budget and delivers a surprisingly thrilling experience!
