The Guest
Less a horror film and more a Terminator sequel, The Guest is a near-perfect film from director Adam Wingard (You’re Next, A Horrible Way to Die). Downton Abbey’s Dan Stephens plays the titular guest, who shows up at a family’s house and begins helping them out using his extremely violent methods. The synth score is fantastic, but all actors involved (including It Follows’ Maika Monroe) are top notch. It’s a violent assault on the senses and not to be missed.
