Say what you want about the movie (personally, I’m a fan), but Ridley Scott’s alien-less Alien prequel Prometheus boasts one of the best Blu-Ray packages ever made and a very impressive 3D transfers. As Casey Broadwater mentions in his review: the whole thing is just gorgeous. Of particular note are the two commentaries (one by director Ridley Scott and another by writers John Spaihts and Damon Lindelof). Scott’s commentary is a very interesting listen. At $20 on Amazon, the Prometheus Blu-Ray is a steal. Even if you’re lukewarm on the film, it’s worth a purchase.
