Published

on

Jon Knautz, who will best be remembered by horror fans for his ultra-fun Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer, as well as the excellent The Shrine, is returning to the genre with The Cleaning Lady (formerly Something Fierce), which is heading to the Cannes market.

In the film, as a means to distract herself from an affair, a love-addicted woman befriends a cleaning lady, badly scarred by burns. She soon learns these scars run much deeper than the surface.

The Cleaning Lady will reteam Knautz with the beautiful star of his Goddess of LoveAlexis Kendra, as well as SAG-nominee Stelio Savante (Eisenstein in Guanajuato, Jo the Medicine Runner), Rachel Alig, and Elizabeth Sandy, who also appeared in Goddess of Love.
