Principal photography has just begun on the nature survival horror feature Hoax, which tackles the infamous yet ever elusive Bigfoot. The film is being shot in Lake City, Colorado.
“Hoax tells the story of an investigation into a camping trip gone wrong, turning into a fight for survival when the team, including a brilliant primate specialist and led by a ruthless television producer, must come to grips with the possible existence of Bigfoot.”
The movie stars Ben Browder (“Farscape”, “Stargate”), Hutch Dano (“Zeke and Luther”, Zombieveavers), Cheryl Texiera (“Girl Meets World”, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”), Shoshana Bush (Fired Up), Brian Thompson (Dragonheart, Joe Dirt), Max Decker (“All My Children”, “Days of our Lives”), Matt Reidy (“Scandal”, “Mad Men”) and Anthony Ray Parker (The Matrix, The Frighteners).
Directed by Matt Allen and produced by Mitch Dickman and Michael Haskins, Hoax will feature SFX and make up from William Munns (Return of the Living Dead, Swamp Thing, The Beastmaster) and an original score from Alan Howarth (They Live, Stargate, Big Trouble in Little China), who will also provide the sound design.
