This Summer’s ‘Sharknado 6’ Will Be the End of the Syfy Franchise
You’ve had a good run, tornado sharks.
Back in 2013, Syfy’s Sharknado became an unlikely hit, winning over audiences with its particular brand of over-the-top nonsense and pulling in huge numbers for the network. A sequel was ordered… and then another… and then three more. This Summer will see the premiere of Sharknado 6, which we’re being told will be the end for the series.
Via TV Line, the Anthony C. Ferrante-directed Sharknado 6, which was recently announced, will wrap things up with a time-traveling adventure starring Ian Ziering.
In the sixth installment…
“All is lost, or is it? Fin unlocks the time-traveling power of the SHARKNADOS in order to save the world and resurrect his family. In his quest, Fin fights Nazis, dinosaurs, knights, and even takes a ride on Noah’s Ark. This time, it’s not how to stop the sharknados, it’s when.”
Tara Reid, Cassie Scerbo and Vivica A. Fox also return.
Sharknado 6 will premiere on July 25, 2018.
