With New York currently being hit hard by the coronavirus, NY-based company A24 has decided to lend a hand by auctioning off some memorable props and costumes from their movies, with ALL proceeds from A24 Auctions being donated to four different NYC charities. Today, April 27th, A24’s block of Midsommar props/costumes has gone up for auction.
Open now and ending on May 13th at 3pm EST, “Midsommar Hårga Collectibles” includes 10 screen-used items from Ari Aster’s film, with all proceeds going to FDNY Foundation.
The FDNY Foundation is the official non-profit organization of the New York City Fire Department. Donations to the COVID-19 Emergency Fund will directly support members and their families who are suffering from this pandemic.
Items up for grabs include the May Queen Dress and the May Queen Crown, along with the infamous Bear Headdress, the Finishing Mallet, and various other tunics, aprons and vests.
The original May Queen gown worn after Dani’s coronation comes complete with 10,000 silk flowers and weighs in at a staggering 30 pounds. It’s already up to $30,000 as of 2pm EST!
