Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead) had originally been attached to direct a sequel to Jim Henson’s classic 1986 movie Labyrinth, but Alvarez is off the project and Scott Derrickson (Sinister) is on!
Deadline reports that the Doctor Strange filmmaker will be directing a sequel to Labyrinth for TriStar Pictures, with Maggie Levin (“Into the Dark: My Valentine”) scripting.
No word on plot details at this time.
