Some brief news that doesn’t really say a whole lot but makes me feel better about this ridiculous news posted last week. Market Saw is reporting that Warner Bros. is moving forward on Gremlins 3D, which I can’t help but scream “bullsh*t” on. Website io9 caught up with Gremlins scribe Chris Columbus who shares the same sentiments. “A few days ago, I saw Steve Spielberg, and I asked him the question you just asked me, because I was reading something on the Internet and he said, “Nobody’s talked to me about it either.” So maybe it’s going on behind our backs?” While I think it’s all a load of crap, I personally would LOVE to see a third Gremlins, especially in 3-D. If starting a bunk rumor is what it takes to light a fire under Warner’s ass – then be it.
