David Arquette Horror ‘The Cottage’ Dated For Home Video

Published

on

David Arquette (Never Been Kissed, Eight Legged Freaks, Scream), Kristen Dalton (Jack Reacher, The Departed, Dexter, The Dead Zone) and Victor Brown (TV’s “One Life to Live,” “Closure”) star in Chris Jaymes’ The Cottage, premiering on DVD October 9th from Entertainment One and Visualeyes Productions.

Chloe (Dalton) and Michael Carpenter (Brown), a struggling suburban couple, have no idea what they’re in for when they rent out the cottage behind their house to a quiet, charming romance novelist named Robert Mars (Arquette). It appears that Mr. Mars was looking for much more than a place to rent. Chloe begins to suspect he’s not who he says he is and she soon realizes that she’s in the fight of her life to protect herself and her family.

The film also stars Ken Baumann (TV’s “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”), sisters Morissa and Alana O’Mara (Hanna’s Gold, Machine Head), Lorraine Nicholson (Soul Surfer, Click) and Bellamy Young (TV’s “Scandal”).

The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.

If you’ve never seen The Gate, it’s now streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.
