In this look back at the history of horror video games, YouTuber Triforcefilms treats us to an acapella takes on some of the most influential and recognizable horror games of all time.
Horror game retrospectives aren’t anything new, but this one is special enough to warrant another go, this time with feeling. Everything from Ghosts ‘n Goblins to The Last of Us — and yes, Silent Hill is also in there.
As a near-obsessive fan of Akira Yamaoka’s work on the Silent Hill franchise, I went in thinking that would be the standout. Surprisingly, the tune I can’t get out of my head right now belongs to Doom.
