We haven’t even heard from all of them yet and 2015’s horror game lineup is already worth getting very excited over. Whether you’re looking for AAA terror or scares of the indie horror persuasion, next year has something for everyone. This made it extremely difficult for me to choose five that I’m most excited to get my hands on, but after giving it some thought, I think I’ve done just that.

SOMA
Developer Frictional Games has been quietly toiling away on their hugely anticipated survival horror game SOMA, surfacing every once in a while to share something about the game before disappearing for another handful of months. With their latest game, the studio behind Amnesia: The Dark Descent is aiming to give gamers a horrific experience that’s terrifying enough to make us forget about our time in Brennenburg Castle’s twisted halls.
They’re looking to “chill us to our cores,” and from what we’ve seen of it so far, I think they may succeed.
